Composer's Biography
Timothy Lee Miller earned a B.S. in music education from the University of Tennessee and an M.M. in composition from the University of Miami. He has written scores for several films and was selected to write a new score for the 1994 Thomas Edison classic "The Manic Chase" for ERMMedia, Inc. He has written works for many chamber ensembles, including string quartets, woodwind and brass quartets and quintets, as well as various trios and octets. His "Kid's Play: A Fun Suite for Orchestra" was awarded a Distinguished Musician Special Mention at the 2009 IBLA Grand Prize Competition in Italy. His orchestral works are recorded on ERMMedia, which is distributed by Naxos. He just completed a recording project of three of his choral works in March 2011.
