Composer's Biography
Emanuela Ballio was born in Milan (Italy). She started studying music at a very early age. At the age of 22 she graduated in Composition with top marks from "G.Verdi" Conservatory in Milan under the guidance of U. Rotondi. She studied electronic music and film music; she was awarded an advanced diploma in Composition with F. Donatoni at the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia in Rome. She has obtained many honors in national and international competitions. Her works have been played in concerts and festival of major cities throughout the world. Her pieces are published by Curci, Edipan, Berben, Fonè and Sconfinarte. She teaches Composition at the Conservatory "L.Marenzio" of Brescia.
